The movie started at 11:50am on Sunday and we were an hour early to buy tickets in case there was a crowd.  LOL

There were less than ten other people in the theater!

U23D was AWESOME!  Love, love love the 3D technology!  WOW WOW WOW!!!

It was **almost** as good as being at a show!  Except the movie wasn't an entire show.  Hmmm.

But what we got was AWESOME:

1. Vertigo....Getting used to the 3D effects.  Fans with their arms in the air felt like they were right in front of me!
2. Beautiful Day.....Yes it was.  Sounded awesome!

4. Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own....I admit...i got teary eyed behind my cool 3D glasses!
5. Love and Peace Or Else.....One Word.....LARRY!

In recent years U2 have been smart enough to release or re-release new material just in time for Christmas Shopping!

This year is no different.  U2 are re-releasing a Remastered Version of JOSHUA TREE.  This Tuesday 11/20!  It's on my wishlist, but not sure what version.  SUPER DELUXE seems like the best bet!!!  Heee heee!  : )

Listening to 'Where the Streets Have No Name' now off of the original Joshua Tree on iTunes..finishing laundry in the dryer and promising this is my last post for the day!  (But it may be a record!!)   : )

Ahhhh Friday.  Usually the best day of the work week.  But, when it's the last day before a week off from work it's SO MUCH BETTER!!!!

I am off for a week!  I usually take a week off in August.  Pretty much guaranteed to have hot, sunny weather around here!  The only concrete plans are York Beach, Maine with Mom and LOBSTER!  YUM!  Other than that I plan on sleeping until at least 8am every day and being outside for PRIME TANNING.  

What am I doing right now at 11:40pm EST?  Listening to iTunes on my Mac.  Specifically 'Vertigo' from U218 Singles.  These Bose speakers kick arse!  That's why Rob is my fave brother.  Thanks Rob!  (LOL)

U2 are winding down their tour.....getting ready to relax in the sun in Hawaii !!!

Their last show in Tokyo was 12/4 and here's what happened.....

Out of Control in Tokyo.  Out of Control, from 1979, was in the set tonight, along with Window in the Skies, set for release in January, 2007. And the Japanese audience for the final show in Tokyo also got Vertigo twice. Here's what they played.

I wish I was in Tokyo for 11/30 concert!  U2 closed with 'All I Want is You'.  What an amazing song!  It's even more amazing live!  And to end their show with it?!!!!  That would be a goosebump and teary eyed moment!  When I read the set-list just now i felt an instant AWE!!!
