Ben Roethlisberger is on Letterman tonight! Woooo hoooooo!
I am going to try, try, try to stay awake to watch! Ben's a funny guy actually!
After reading all the Super Bowl coverage today....i came across two of the best photos EVER!
This one must've been taken during the last minutes of the fourth quarter. It is possible they showed it on tv, but I missed it because I couldn't watch! Had my eyes closed. LOVE this photo! Shows the sensitive side of Ben! He is holding hands with his coach Mike Tomlin!
This one is classic! Love Ben! Love the trophy!
WOW WOW WOW!!! What a game! When Ben Roethlisberger was biting his nails.....i was too! There were some plays where I couldn't even look at the television. I had to close my eyes and hold my breath!! Ahhhhhhhhh! Too many penalties. UGH!
Best play of the game was when the Steelers linebacker James Harrison (HE ROCKS!!!) intercepted Kurt Warner and ran it back 100 yards for a touchdown! Wahoooooooooooo! Ok another great play was when Ben himself tried to get the touchdown...but those silly refs took it away from him! LOL!
No matter...final score STEELERS 27 - Cardinals 23 !
We got ready for the game early by hanging out flags:
Then the twins baked and decorated a cake...it was yummy!
My brother Joe was a good sport and posed for lots of photos!
Celebrating the victory!
Congrats to the STEELERS!
Yet another reason to pay close attention to the commercials on Super Bowl Sunday!
U2 Gets Their Boots On During NFL Network Super Bowl Ad
Band's New Single Is Soundtrack To Net's 'Run' Commercial In Big Game

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band may be performing at halftime, but Bono and the boys will have a presence in Super Bowl XLIII this Sunday as part of NFL Network's commercial that will "run" during NBC's coverage of the Big Game.
Irish super group U2 will provide the soundtrack to NFL Network's Super Bowl XLIII commercial.
"Get On Your Boots," the group's newest single, will be featured during the spot, entitled "Run," which showcases Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden, beginning a training run that continues through the NFL off-season. The commercial. according to executives, illustrates that NFL Network is where "Football Season Never Ends."
This marks the sixth straight year the NFL's in-house network will have an advertisement in the Super Bowl. In addition to NFL Network the commercial touts NFL.com and NFL Mobile Live.
"This spot demonstrates that the season and passion for football never ends for players, fans and for NFL Media," said Dena Kaplan, senior vice president, marketing for NFL Network, in a statement. "When all you want is football, we're the direct connection to the NFL all year long."
Are you watching the Super Bowl today? Who are you watching it with, and which team do you want to win?
Go Patriots!!!!!
Time seems to really fly!
SIX years ago the Patriots were playing the Rams in the Superbowl.
U2 were playing the halftime! (Woo hooo!)
There was a quarterback controversy going on that even the boys of U2 felt compelled to comment on:
"This is a lot of nonsense about [Tom] Brady and [Drew] Bledsoe," said the Edge in reference to the Patriots quarterback controversy at a press conference in New Orleans on Wednesday (January 30). "We are not here to add to that travesty, but I will say this, Bledsoe has a superior long pass and Brady has a sore ankle." U2 vocalist Bono added, "We are here to bring peace to Brady and Bledsoe, to bring peace to the A.F.L. and the N.F.L. That's our mission." I mention this because today is Media Day in Arizona! Can't wait to see and hear about all the fun (hopefully!) questions the Patriots are asked today by the world press!

No question it has to be 'Where the Streets have No Name' off of the Joshua Tree. Brings me back to 1987 every time. Whenever I hear the opening notes I still to this day get goosebumps! When U2 played it during the halftime of Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002 I was crying like a baby.
I think the best performance of it though was at Slane Castle.
Like my title? Thought of it all by myself! Yes, I know it should be spelled 'reigns' but with all the rain during the Super Bowl last night....I thought it was appropriate!
Super Bowl Sunday. What football teams and players work towards all year. With the Patriots out of it, I needed someone to cheer for! (sorry Tom Brady) So....Peyton Manning and the Colts became my team for the past two weeks! : )
Peyton was icebox cool. I only saw him get sacked once! I didn't really see the Peyton pout face at all. Good boy! He did make me scream a few times as I was wondering who he was throwing to...but he got the job done!
On top of it all Peyton won MVP too! Congrats!!! Can't wait to see all the commercials that are sure to come out of this!
