WOW WOW WOW!

Were we lucky or what?!

Today was another perfect day!  It was about 80 degrees.  The good thing was that it was a bit breezy so it didn't really feel that hot at all !!

VERY relaxing!

Tonight, I was finally able to see the 'Gossip Girl' pilot episode!!  I think that this show will be far better than what the CW has in store for 90210 in the fall .......

Today was gorgeous and perfect!

We were all outside from 10am to at least 6pm.

Mom and the twins were working on staining the shed.  It came out AWESOME!

I was reading the newspapers and a book while being the runner when they wanted water or soda!

I think it's the longest the twins have been outside in many years.  They both even got little sunburns!!

Hopefully tomorrow will be more of the same weather!

What is with the weather here?!!

I left sunny Paradise Island, Bahamas yesterday at about 1:30.  It was 85 degrees and gorgeous!!

The pilot joked that the weather in Boston was similar to what the day was like in the Bahamas EXCEPT that it was raining and coolish.

COOLISH?!?!!?  When I stepped outside of Logan Airport it was so cold I could see my breath!  WTF?!?!?

Vacation was PERFECT!!  The Atlantis was beautiful !! Each day was warm and sunny and relaxing!

It's only 44 degrees here right now.  BRRRRRR!

Today was the first day this year that I sat out on the patio in the SUN!

It was warm and bright and gorgeous!!

There was even a sun index!

No fake tanning required today at all !!

Today was perfect!

Ugh!  It's raining here.  But, it is FRIDAY!  TGIF!!!

I have my usual dinner plans with Mom tonight!

This weekend I have fun plans with Geri and Les on Saturday night!  We are going to a surprise BD party!!!

I shouldn't have looked.  But right now it is sunny and 92 degrees with a sun index of 10 in Aruba.

It's Friday 8/31.  Can't believe that tomorrow is September 1rst ALREADY!

I've been off from work this past week and every day has been PERFECT sun worshipping weather.  The weather people say that this weekend is supposed to be perfect too!  Here's hoping.  I am in charge of feeding the kittys next door and hope to be spending time floating in my favorite neighbors pool.  LOL!

Tonight after dinner w/Els I went to the Crop Shop to see Deborah!  She helped me spend some money on new Elsie Flannigan goodies called 'Jack & Abby'!  Sooooooo very CUTE!!!!  Hey?  Did we win the jackpot tonight?!  Heee heeeeee!

Lots of television tonight covering the 10 year anniversary of the death of Princess Diana.  TEN years have gone by.  I can't believe it.  I remember when the twins woke me up to tell me she had been in a car accident and later when she passed.  : (

Yesterday at 1:30 I got my last two wisdom teeth removed.  No problem!  I didn't even feel the bottom one get pulled and they were working on the top one.  YAY!!

As soon as I got home, I went back out into the sun with lots of water, and pudding!  LOL!!

Today was another gorgeous day.  No humidity and a high sun index!  I was outside ALL day except for a brief break for lunch and watched 30 minutes of AMC with Mom!

The October issue of Creating Keepsakes Magazine came in the mail today, and I started to read it.....but fell asleep in the sun!!  LOL!!

It's ok....something to read tomorrow!  : )

Well VOX....I was outside on my patio until about an hour ago when dark clouds rolled in.  Where is the SUN???!?!!!!!

So, this weekend to improve the economy, the state of MA has decided to allow consumers to make purchases and not charge the usual state tax.

Usually I'd be happy about this and making lists of stores to visit, and things to purchase.

But, the stores are going to be mobbed, I really don't need anything and the sun is supposed to return....so I will be skipping it.

Ok, fine.  I am really skipping too because I've asked my family to make their Christmas lists so I could start shopping and they looked at me like I was an alien.   Hmmmph!!!

Also, I am trying to resist the MacBook!!!  RESIST!!!

Random Saturday Ramblings:

- The weather people said the sun index would be a 9 here today.  It was for about an hour earlier this morning, but has been a big ZERO this afternoon.  : (

- Since I can't sit in the sun, I am doing laundry.  Ok, I am doing laundry while surfing the net and checking out my faves.

- My mouth seems to be fine from where I had my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday, just a little throbby, but my jaw was aching.  Super Tylenol took care of THAT!!  : )

- Crush got his cool wheels back earlier this week.  It's about time, it only took 15 days!!!  LOL!  He told me that he got the locking lug nuts so his wheels should now be safe.  I think that if the theives can't get the wheels...next time they will just take the car...but what do i know??!

- I was looking at some of the show photos from CHA, and can't wait to hear all about it when Deb gets back!!  : )

- My brother Joe is reading the newest Harry Potter book.  I wonder if he will cry when Hedwig the owl dies?   : (    (I know when I read the spoiler earlier in the week I got a bit teary eyed.)

- I am supposed to be eating soft foods.  Butterscotch pudding and chicken noodle soup is NOT cutting it.  I am hungry!

- My other brothers went to see the new Jessica Biel movie.  I think the name of it is 'I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry' and it really is an Adam Sandler movie....but obviously they are going to see JB!  Who are they kidding!?!

- I may actually be creative this afternoon since the sun doesn't look like it is going to show itself again.
