Today is new music Tuesday!! Mat Kearney has a new one out! It's called 'City of Black & White' and it's VERY good! Last night I was able to get it from iTunes and then I updated my iPod so I could listen to it today! Oh, and of course I shared with non-crush since he got me into Mat Kearney and Cupid!
I am a nosey person. I can't help it! I always want to know what other people are listening to on their iPods!!
Cupid said yesterday that he would loan me his iPod for a day and I could make a list of some music I wanted to borrow. Well, he is a guy, so I thought that would never happen! I was WRONG!
Before 9am I had his iPod. I was giddy! Looking through someone else's music collection is VERY fun! I kept nodding my head at some of the bands we had in common, or bands that I liked but didn't have! Then I would giggle seeing some other music choices, but listened anyway! : )
His taste is REALLY all over the dial. I was in awe really! It's like an inside peek!! I LOVE it! : )
Here is a small list of what I saw/listened to:
Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Keane, Supertramp, Journey, Joy Division, Eagles, The Church, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Digital Underground, Coldplay, Vertical Horizon
I lent him some Elbow and The Script to add to his collection. Also offered my iPod to him to look at to see if there was anything he would want to borrow, but he hasn't borrowed yet.
OH!! Who knew that Jack Johnson had a song called 'Cupid' ?!! : )

I am minding my own business at work. Trying to stay out of trouble...when trouble comes to me.
Cupid came to see me for a work related reason. Then he showed me his latest App on his iPod Touch! I am really liking the Touch so I was excited to see it!
The App is called 'Lose It' and it's for weight loss. He showed me how he can input everything he eats each day and it shows the calories you have consumed.
THEN he showed me the activities he does each day and I guess how many calories are burned. His list of activities after snow shoveling included sexual activity!! When I pointed that out on his list his reply was 'Well...it does count!'.
The 13 year old girl inside me could not stop giggling!!
I got to check out all his other cool apps and as he left I asked him to be sure to have the Touch with him next time he visits so I can see the calories lost from ALL of his activities!
So, Cupid got the iPod Touch for Christmas!
On Tuesday I got to see it in action and actually hold it! GASP! LOL!
It is VERY cool. Lots of features that a gadget guru would totally appreciate!
Well today he couldn't wait to show me a new application he found for it!
YES! It's a 'More Cowbell' app!! Bwa hahahahahahahahahahahhahaha!
I could not stop giggling! Tap the cowbell or shake the iPod Touch and it makes the cowbell sound!
Totally worth the price of purchase just for the giggle factor! I can't wait until he shows it to our other friend who is a total cowbell fan! LOL!!!

So here goes:
This Monkey still makes me smile every time I look at it or see a photo of it! Deb gave it to me two years ago and I love it!
My brother Rob gave me the U2 iPod for Christmas in 2006. Truth be told he gave it to me a little early so I could take it on vacation with me!
My second trip to Hawaii (Bonolulu!) in 2006 might not have happened if it wasn't for my Mom!! Her thought process was that the trip was in December and my BD and Christmas are very close together! I cried when I found out what she did for me....
Like I said, I am very lucky! : )
Well Apple doesn't make it easy to decide what my next purchase from them might be!
Today's announcement was a new version of iTunes, a new and improved iPod Touch and revamped Nanos with bright cool colors!
Well, I already have the U2 iPod and it's not even close to being full. So really I don't need a cool new Nano. Even if Steve Jobs made them in COOL colors that I LOVE! LOL!
So for now I'll still dream about the iPhone and the MacBook! : )
Why did we not receive our invite to this event?!
I can't wait to hear the announcement/new releases Apple has in store for us!!!
There are so many rumors but my favorite one is that it somehow involves U2!!
