Could you please just release all of your concert dates for 2010 now? I know planning a massive tour takes a huge effort, but I am not very patient. It looks like you may have missed New England in your plans for 2010 and I am hoping you make a return to the UK to make up for that. But, rumors are swirling that for some insane reason you aren't even planning a return to the UK in 2010?!
I am getting tired of hitting refresh on all my favorite U2 sites and reading the latest tour rumors. Please. Please. PLEASE just announce the remainder of the tour ASAP.

The New England Patriots are in London this weekend for a game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at WEMBLEY STADIUM!!!!
My cousin Christine and her husband are among the lucky fans that made the trip over! I get to see her next Sunday and will get all the details of her first trip to Europe.
Tomorrow I will be excited to watch the game from Wembley! : )
I am listening to a bootleg of U2 at Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield England. It's awesome quality because the show was broadcast on the radio in the UK!! (still looking for good quality of my Wembley shows too!)
I viewed some photos of Don Valley Stadium and it looks like a cool place to see a show. It isn't a massive stadium like Wembley but the layout looks cool !!
So, according to U2Tours this is the setlist for the show I'm listening to:
Venue: Don Valley Stadium Opening Act(s): Elbow, The Hours Main Set: Breathe, No Line On The Horizon, Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Beautiful Day - Blackbird, Elevation, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - Movin' On Up, Happy Birthday, Stuck In a Moment, Unknown Caller, The Unforgettable Fire, City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (remix), Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride, MLK, Walk On - You'll Never Walk Alone, Where the Streets Have No Name, One, Mysterious Ways Encore(s): Ultraviolet, With or Without You, Moment of Surrender Comments: Bono leads the crowd in singing Happy Birthday for hometown boy Willie Williams. Instead of 'Rock the Casbah,' Bono sings a bit of 'Oliver's Army' during Sunday Bloody Sunday. The show is broadcast live on UK radio and online. But most online streams are delayed by about 30 minutes, except for one radio station in Poland. 8/20/09.
I can't believe the U2 concerts at Wembley were two weeks ago already. Why does time go by so fast?!!
Two weeks ago tomorrow (8/16) was my last full day being a tourist in London. It was a beautiful sunny day in the mid 70's. I took full advantage by getting on the upper level of an open topped double decker bus to take loads of photos.
These are some of my favorites!
This is my hotel with the Marble Arch nearby.
Nicky Clarke is the hairdresser to London's well heeled including the late Princess Diana. (i have taken this tour before and knew what the guide was going to say!)
Love these jumpers in Piccadilly
Her Majestys Theater where I saw Phantom of the Opera with my brothers on a previous visit.
There was a lot of construction/cleaning going on in Trafalgar Square. Nelson didn't seem to mind
The Eye street view
Waterloo (my my at Waterloo napoleon did surrender...sing it Abba!)
Beautiful pub flowers
I love this egg building or Guerkin as it's known. It's on the top of my Vox profile too!
Driving over the Tower Bridge
Last look at Big Ben and the Eye
I am already thinking about my next visit, but until next time London I miss you!!!
: )
My car service picked me up 30 minutes earlier because he said that there would be more traffic and people on Saturday night. He was right. Even though the show didn't say it was sold out before I left to go to London there were more people at Wembley the second night!
This night I was still super excited, but a little more relaxed since I knew where I was going and I knew where to find my ride after the show. I checked out the merchandise stands again and grabbed a hat for me and two tees for friends. : )
My seat tonight was still in Block 122 but in row 36. Ahhhhhhhh! Much better for photos tonight!! A couple from Canada sat next to me and they were big fans! The wife was hysterical. When they started with Breathe she was screaming and giving me high fives!! : )
This is what they played (U2tours)
Venue: Wembley Stadium Opening Act(s): Glasvegas, The Hours Main Set: Breathe, No Line On The Horizon, Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Beautiful Day, Until the End of the World, New Year's Day, I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - Stand By Me, Stay (Faraway, So Close), Unknown Caller, The Unforgettable Fire, City of Blinding Lights, Vertigo, I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight (remix), Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride, MLK, Walk On, Where the Streets Have No Name, One, Bad Encore(s): Ultraviolet, With or Without You, Moment of Surrender Comments: Bono sings the opening line of 'A Day Without Me' during The Unforgettable Fire. Later, he ad-libs new lyrics in the second verse of Bad, then closes the song with a bit of 'Fool To Cry' and 1-2 lines from '40.' Jimmy Page and Lars Ulrich are among the celebrities at the show.
I think that the second night was better than the first if possible!!! I REALLY love hearing the new songs live! then they added New Years Day and Bad !!! Ahhhhhhhh!
I think my favorite moment was 'Where the Streets Have No Name' because it's my favorite song, BUT the Edge ran laps around the stage!! Usually it's Bono who does the running but the Edge just took off!!! : )
Another favorite moment was when Bono told a story about one of their sound guys visiting Wembley when the new stadium was being built, and putting one of Edge's plectrums in the foundations. So now Edge is always part of Wembley. Edge is all around us!!! LOL!!
I took so many photos both nights but these are some good ones from night two! : )
I did not want the second night to end. I waited until the crowd thinned out a little bit before exiting. Who knows when I'll ever get back to Wembley Stadium again?!
The crowd was like a big wave just walking down the hill after the show towards Wembley Stadium train Station. I found my driver and had to explain to him that sometimes I get teary eyed when I am really, really, REALLY happy!
It felt strange Sunday night not getting picked up and taken to Wembley after doing it two nights in a row! LOL!!
I am VERY much looking forward to U2 coming here in September!!!!
Thank you U2, Wembley and London for a fantastic vacation!
What vacations would you most like to take in the next five years?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
Excellent question!
- If I could go to Maine once a year I would be very happy! LOVE the clean air and Maine Lobster!
- Aruba. Would go back every year if I found the right airfare deal!!
- Hawaii. Was lucky to visit twice in 2006 and would love to eventually return!
- London. I know I am going next month, but I already know I want to go back!
- Ireland. Haven't been back since 2001. NEED another visit there!
Britney Spears and her sons were in London recently for several BS concerts. When she wasn't on stage she was spending quality time with her cute boys. Awwww! Look at all the bags they got!!!!!
I just read tonight that they went shopping at my favorite toy store EVER....Hamleys on Regent Street!!! This store is the happiest place. The people that work there get to play with toys all day!!!! In 2006 when my brother and I went they were blowing bubbles out in front of the store. Oooooooooh!!!!!
In many of my tourist pics you can see me clutching the bag with Paddington in it that my brother got me from Hamleys!
I can't wait to go back......
You are in London being a tourist and want to check out Trafalgar Square. Except when you get there you find 13,000 people and Pink singing karaoke for a T-Mobile commercial !
How funny! I like listening to this video but also watching the crowd reaction when they realize Pink is there. Oh, and the traffic crawling by is pretty funny too!
