Happy Tuesday!  Can't believe September is almost over!!!

Work has been kind've  'Mehhhhhh' these past two weeks.  But, it's getting a bit better.  I treated myself this morning to a large Dunkin Donuts hot chocolate even though it really wasn't chilly out!  : )

Talking to the girls today.  Trying to make a plan to get together this weekend for some rum and girl chat!

Last night and tonight I spoke with 2 people that got laid off from my company.  They don't have jobs yet, but are in good spirits.  I try to keep in touch, but sometimes time moves so fast.  It was good to catch up though!

Lately when I get home from work I've been watching reruns of Grey's Anatomy.  The one that was on tonight was 'I am a Tree' and it was interesting because it was from 2006 and the music was great!!!  The episode had 'Open Your Eyes' by Snow Patrol and 'Crashing Down' by Mat Kearney.  Double swoon!

Speaking of Mat Kearney...he is on tour right now!  Sadly no Boston dates.  BUT, one of his recent FaceBook status updates said 'I LOVE BOSTON'.  Hope that means he is planning on visiting!!!

U2 news.  The European 2010 presale dates are happening this week for some cities.  Some of the dates are a YEAR away!!!!  I have to start saving my pennies for 2010!!!!

Tonight U2 are playing at FedEx Field in Washington, DC.  I read that the stadium is HUGE!!!  Something shocking that I read tonight was that their tour has yet to turn a profit??  Hmmmmm!  I bought tickets for SIX shows!  I swear I tried to help!!  LOL!!

Watched the new version of 90210 tonight.  It's getting bad.  But, somehow I can't turn the channel!

Oooh!  Last thing is I just updated my iPhone.  I am now able to send photos when I text message!!  Wooo hoooo!  Thank you Apple and AT&T !!!

Hmmmm.  We all know how much I love change!  (NOT!!!)

Well, apparently there is a new version of Facebook 3.0 for iPhone users.

Now, I have only had my iPhone for a little more than a month, but I LOVE the version of FB already on my phone!  Mainly because it has the live feed! (for the stalker inside me!)  Plus, I can click and just see status updates.  Unless I am missing it...i don't see live feed or just status updates listed here.  I will wait for some reviews before updating my version!  I do like the updates that I Bolded though!

Facebook iPhone 3.0 has officially passed the critical eye of Apple and is now available for download.  The new features include the ability to upload videos from an iPhone 3GS, view events and RSVP, landscape mode, a built-in web browser, a quick call and text function as well as a myriad of other improvements.  It also looks like they’ve cleaned up the UI a bit.

I don't deal with change well.  I stick to what I know.  So, when my cell phone is an old school Nokia, not even a flip phone mind you... with barely the ability to text I cringe at upgrading.

All around me people have amazing Smart Phones.  I could be out with one of my brothers and they will point out 13 year olds that have better phones than me!!  LOL.

Last Wednesday I decided enough!  Time for a change!  I went into AT&T and upgraded to an iPhone 3G !!!  At first I couldn't believe I did it....me being scared of change!

Now, almost a week later I can't believe I waited so long!  I LOVE Apple products!  My desktop is a Mac, I love my U2 iPod, if I ever get a laptop it will be a macbook, so why not have the iPhone??!!!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new phone!!   : )

The only tiny criticism I have is the screen.  Even with a protector on it, there are major smudges.  But, I can deal with it I think!

U2 iPod

My brother Rob gave me the U2 iPod for Christmas in 2006.  Truth be told he gave it to me a little early so I could take it on vacation with me!

My second trip to Hawaii (Bonolulu!) in 2006 might not have happened if it wasn't for my Mom!!  Her thought process was that the trip was in December and my BD and Christmas are very close together!  I cried when I found out what she did for me....

Like I said, I am very lucky!  : )

Well Apple doesn't make it easy to decide what my next purchase from them might be!

Today's announcement was a new version of iTunes, a new and improved iPod Touch and revamped Nanos with bright cool colors!

Well, I already have the U2 iPod and it's not even close to being full.  So really I don't need a cool new Nano.  Even if Steve Jobs made them in COOL colors that I LOVE!  LOL!

So for now I'll still dream about the iPhone and the MacBook!   : )
