I have never heard of this band before tonight but I love this song.

The band is Wakey Wakey and the song is 'Brooklyn' and it had me in tears earlier tonight. 

Yes, I know it's cheesy to cry at a TV show, but it was the end scene of One Tree Hill and this song was playing.  Actually, the person who plays the bartender in a few episodes was playing it.  Turns out he is a member of the band.

What's your favorite thing about the holidays? Least favorite?

I LOVE December!!  The Christmas decorations, the smell of Christmas trees and wreaths!  Getting shopping done and writing Christmas cards!

My birthday is VERY close to Christmas so it's lots of things to be happy about!

Christmas morning.  When my Mom tears up at a present she didn't know she was getting or when my brothers can actually still be surprised at a gift too!  Plus on Christmas we have an Italian feast!  YUM!

Hmmm.  I have to say my least favorite part is being at work around Christmas.  Luckily after 12/17 I am off until AFTER Christmas!  People there are phony day to day and it just gets worse in December I feel.

I know this isn't what the song is about, but SUGAR HIGH is still how I feel today after all that chocolate yesterday!  : )

(also I love this movie!)

Today was fabulous!!!!!  My friend Deb picked me up today (12/5) at about noon.  We (Me, Deb and Jenn) had a 1:00 reservation for The Chocolate Bar at the Langham Hotel.

I have never been to an event like this.  Ok, I have been to brunches, but not one where EVERY SINGLE THING is soooooooooo yummy!!!!!!!!

There were so many yummy choices!  I was dizzy not even knowing where to start!  We made THREE (LOL) trips up while we were there!  

Trip one:  Whoppie pie, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate mousse cup and strawberry cheese cake!  mmmmmMMMMMMmmmmmm!!!

Trip two:  Chocolate pizza, Chocolate cupcake, more chocolate covered strawberries, white chocolate and more mousse cups!  Yummmmmm!  The chocolate pizza was white chocolate, dark chocolate and pineapple over a yummy crust!

Trip three:  I wanted to have cotton candy as my dessert!  LOL!!  Cotton candy, rice krispie treat and more chocolate!

Then because we were all on sugar highs we got silly!  Tee heee!

Before we left we had the concierge take our photo in the beautiful lobby.  I love these girls!
